General Scholarship
October 5, 2009 — The Society of Professional Journalists South Florida Pro Chapter has announced its 2009-2010 scholarship program. The chapter will award three $1,000 cash prizes at the end of this academic year — one each to an outstanding student journalist from a high school, community college, and four-year university in the tri-county area.
While the deadline to apply isn’t until Arpil 15th, you’ll need at least three samples of your work, so start collecting those now.
Financial need, academic performance, and quality of work for student or professional news media is considered.
